ABOUT US
We are a family based company, established by our Grandfather, the late Harry Atkinson in 1922. His sons Robert and Stanley took over the running of the business in 1975. Keeping the family tradition going, Robert's sons Martin and David took over control in 1998.
Hard work, dedication and attention to detail throughout the generations has been the corner stone to the companies success. Our success speaks for itself, many clients return time after time on both our Tour Programme and Private Hire.
H Atkinson & Sons operates with pride a fleet of up to date executive coaches. Our drivers and office staff are dedicated to providing a first class service to all our clients. A happy client is what we aim for and our best way of advertising for the company.
TOURS
Our tour programme offers luxury coach travel and accomodation in both UK and Europe and ranges from 2 to 7 days based on bed and breakfast or half board basis, with Gold Cover travel insurance for those aged under 100 years of age included. Hopefully, we have organised a good cross section of tours which are realistically and competitively priced to guarentee value for money.
PRIVATE HIRE
Our private hire takes us to various destinations across the UK and Europe from a day trip to Scarborough to a 10 day trip to Andorra. The scope is yours to pursue! All enquiries are dealt with you, the client, (i.e. School and College groups, Women's Institutes, Gardening clubs, Bowls groups, etc) on a personal basis to ensure that we meet your requirements.
CONTRACTS
We undertake the transportation of school children to and from schools.
