Our History
Hire My Coach Wales specialises in providing good value, quality holidays alongside excellent customer service and we aim to become one of Wales largest coach holiday and self drive holiday companies.
From its inception, the business expanded steadily with shops cropping up across South Wales. It was in 2019, the first holiday store opened in Dowlais, Merthyr Tydfil.
In 2020, the company continued to expand steadily, with us purchasing our first ever vehicle and opening our second holiday store situated in Porth. We also had to relocate our existing Merthyr Tydfil store to the town centre.
The business growth, seen us launch our new store better known as HQ, across a new two story building, with our new Accounts & Administration offices, Management Offices, Telephone Sales, Web Sales and Travel store now all under one roof.
In 2021, We purchased our second vehicle, re launched our brand new radio advertising campaign, and recruited a much larger team, our retail coverage expanded again with our new Treorchy travel store, this store being a prime location and allowing us to expand our brand further.
Today, we continue to ensure Travel with Matthew is on the right path to grow at a steady pace across Wales. With the appointment of a strong management team, and an excellent group of Travel Advisors we are confident that we are on the right road. The company has won Best Coach Holiday Company by the Cardiff Prestige Business Awards, and has been awarded first place in three best rated travel companies.
We have also negotiated trade deals with Hays Travel, Travel House, Tylerri Travel, Flamingo Holidays, Blue Skies, and Travellers world to welcome a fantastic selection of local travel agencies to expand the brand further across Wales.
We launched our very own apprenticeship programme allowing those interested in the industry to learn vital skills with our in house training programme.
