Our journey started in 1945, when Ted Scotland and Bob Bates bought a Charabanc to transport farm workers to surrounding fields. This quickly progressed into school transport for the local children as a way to safely deliver them to and from the classroom. By 1950, we were transporting private passengers across the country for leisure purposes – the start of Scotland & Bates.
