We offer various coaches from Luxury Executive to our purpose built 70 seat school coaches. Our coaches are maintained to the highest standards and kept in immaculate condition. We are proud of the presentation of our fleet and our reputation for providing safe reliable transport at an affordable cost.
Who We Are
Established in July/August 1986 Skelton Coaches began with just one 12 seat Bedford CF minibus which was quickly followed by a Ford Transit and another Bedford CF.
We are a local family business with a dedicated team of drivers who share our family approach to providing quality coaches and a high level of service to all the passengers we transport on each and every journey we undertake be it near or far.
We have being operating from our base near Guisborough in Cleveland providing coach hire to the whole of the Teesside area and beyond for 30 years.
Over the years the fleet has gone through various stages and vehicle types, going from mainly being a mini bus operator to now operating just full size Volvo coaches.
The coaches haven't always being our familiar bright orange, from white to red, from stripes to flashes we've experimented quite a lot until we found the colour's we were most happy with!
A gradual investment and fleet renewal program has seen us
modernise our fleet year after year to bring you our customers the smart modern fleet of coaches we now have at our disposal.
Since operations commenced we have operated school and baths contracts on behalf of Redcar and Cleveland Council and most school runs have now being operated well over 20 years.
Each and every school day our coaches transport over 1000 pupils to and from school or college, along with our swimming baths contracts we have transported more of East Cleveland's school children than any other coach or bus company past or present.
We take great pride in our reliability and time keeping making sure that the pupils we transport arrive on time and safely, every coach is maintained and operated to the highest standards, thousands of pounds spent each month ensuring we keep enhancing and not just settling for okay standards.
But we are not just a school bus operation, along with providing quality reliable school transport we also provide luxury coach hire for a large number or private customers and regular corporate and business uses.
