Swans Travel Limited is proud to announce that we aim to become carbon neutral by 2015. We are working in conjunction with a leading organisation to reduce our carbon emissions, ensuring that we operate an environmentally efficient company. We have a continuous development programme that has improved our Co2 engine emissions from Euro 3 to Euro 5 and we will increase to Euro 6 by 2015, further reducing our carbon footprint by 25%.
Our modern, well-maintained fleet already has one of the lowest levels of carbon emissions within the UK transport industry and we understand the importance of reducing our carbon footprint further still. More importantly, CO² emissions, calculated in kilograms per passenger per journey, show that coach travel is one of the most environmentally friendly modes of transport available.
