Yellow Line Coaches
Mc Anulty's Yellow Line Coach Hire is one of the oldest companies in the coach industry. Established in 1819 with horse-drawn carriages and drays, the business was then known as a posting establishment. This continued until the early 1900s, when automation was brought in with charabancs and Fords and it was named Yellow Line.
In 1935 the NIRTB (Northern Ireland Road Transport Board) took over all transport in Northern Ireland; however a taxi operation remained in the interim. It restarted again with coaches in 1968 when the private sector could once again apply for licences.
Today the firm continues to advance with the present family being the seventh generation operating the business - a unique feat...
We work very closely with the local Education Boards on providing "Home to School" Transport in Northern Ireland and have created a number of well established services also accommodating students in the Newry and Belfast areas. We run Tours and Excursions and have built up a very reputable name in this industry with over 30 years experience.
